ALPAUGH PLUMBING was established in 1947 by
Robert E. (Sr.) & Kathleen Alpaugh. Our first
shop was located at 2308 1/2 Florida Ave (Florida &
Columbus.)

In 1959, the shop moved to 7700 N.
Florida Ave. (Florida & Kirby).

Robert E.
(Sr.)'s son started young in the business at the age
of 9 years old, learning the ropes after school and
in the summers. He then pursued his state
Master Plumbing license in 1978. Passing the
exam.

In 1980, the shop was moved to 4810 E. Busch
Blvd. closer to the Temple Terrace area. We
remained there until we expanded to need more room
for supplies and inventory. In 1986, Robert E.
(Sr.) retired and Bob (jr.) took over. We
purchased a plumbing company called Advanced
Plumbing and moved into their location at 9002 N.
Nebraska Ave. which is also our current location.
In 2003, we purchased the inventory from Harvey's
Specialty Company, which was a supply parts company
to expand our retail counter. They carried a
vast supply of hard to find or discontinued parts.
In 2005, Bob's two daughters, Ashlee & Mandy decided
to join him in the business and begin to learn what
it takes to run a successful plumbing company.
Both are pursuing their Journeyman plumbing licenses
and learning the full spectrum of the business.
